Terms
The reading, quotation and republication terms for the free essays of Drift Investment Insights, plus the publisher's identification required under Taiwan's consumer and tax rules.
What these terms cover
These terms govern your use of drift-circuit.digital — the essays, the pages around them, and the inquiry desk. By reading on and by sending an inquiry you accept them as written. They deliberately contain no commercial clauses, because there is nothing here to sell you.
What this site is, plainly
An editorial project. The essays explain how published methods — largely drawn from machine learning and statistics — are used to notice when markets change regime, using public research and public market history. The site is informational only. Nothing published here is personalized investment advice, a recommendation, an offer to transact, or a solicitation of any kind; because the desk offers no portfolios, no execution, no products and no paid tiers, there is no commercial relationship for these terms to price. Where an essay touches methods with real-world consequences, it stays at the level of general education, and no essay is tailored to your situation, holdings or objectives.
Reading, linking and quoting
Essays are free to read and free to link. Quotation is welcome within reason: short excerpts, credited with a link back to the essay quoted, are permitted for commentary, teaching and similar legitimate purposes, consistent with the quotation provisions of Taiwan’s Copyright Act. What is not permitted is republishing a whole essay, or a substantial slice of one, outside fair quotation — for that, write first.
Republication requests
To reprint a full essay in a newsletter, course reader or other outlet, send a request through the inquiry desk describing the essay, the outlet and the context. Permission, when granted, is conditioned on intact text with no edits that change meaning, a visible credit to this site, and a working link to the original. Republication behind a paywall needs explicit consent, stated up front in your request.
Corrections and accuracy
The desk makes reasonable efforts to be accurate and to describe methods at the level of care a general reader deserves — which sources are public, which claims are historical, and where science ends and interpretation begins. Errors survive anyway; that is the nature of editorial work. Corrections are welcome, are read with gratitude rather than defensiveness, and acknowledged by fixing the essay in place.
Disclaimer of reliance
The essays are background reading, not a basis for decisions with money on the line. Anyone making investment decisions should rely on their own judgment and, where appropriate, on advice from a licensed professional who can see their full situation — something this desk pointedly does not provide. The desk cannot warrant that any essay is complete, current, or uninterrupted by error.
Liability
To the fullest extent the law of the Republic of China (Taiwan) allows, Drift Investment Insights Enterprise is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of this site or reliance on its contents. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that Taiwanese law does not permit to be excluded.
Changes
Essays are revised when they need it, and errors are fixed without ceremony. These terms carry the review date above; when the terms change, the change is written directly into this page, and the new date is the record.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of China (Taiwan). Subject to what mandatory consumer rules provide, disputes belong before the Taipei District Courts.
